Cancer prevention for Canadians

The ComPARe Study is a national investigation identifying important cancer risk factors in Canada, and how many cancer cases are diagnosed each year due to these risk factors. It is a great resource to turn to in order to identify the leading causes of cancer diagnoses in Canada. I was part of the research team that undertook this massive study, and was specifically responsible for estimating the number of cancer cases happening in Canada every year from air pollution and radon exposure. I am keeping this post short in the hopes that you will find my TEDx talk on the ComPARe Study and the original study website more interesting. Contact me for any specific questions about this exciting research!
